The study,
"The Bible and the Sacraments" is based on Scott Hahn's book, "Swear to God: The Promise and the Power of the Sacraments." With the use of the accompanying study book, we will:
delve into the meaning and origin of the Sacraments as taught by the Church
expose the deeper mystery of the sacraments as illuminated by Sacred Scripture
examine the relationship between the Old and New Testaments
reveal the Sacraments to be more than "earthly rituals"
uncover the “‘powers that come forth’ from the Body of Christ”
Each week the 60- to 90-minute session will consist of
review and discuss previous week's material
watch current portion of video produced by St. Paul Center
group discussion of current week's viewing
check over previous week's assigned "homework"
